Relentless Love

Hosea 3:1-5 1Then the LORD said to me, “Go again, love a woman who is loved by her husband, yet an adulteress, even as the LORD loves the sons of Israel, though they turn to other gods and love raisin cakes.” 2So I bought her for myself for fifteen shekels of silver and a homer […]

The Macedonian Call

Encouraging Thoughts on Prayer

Here are the eight things for which I (Mike) pray for my children and grandchildren:

1. That they would love God more than I do.
2. That they would have a burden for the lost.
3. That they would have a hunger for God‘s word.
4. That God would protect them from their peers.
5. That God would prepare a spouse for them to take them to their highest spiritual potential.
6. That God would keep them pure until they find that spouse.
7. That if God is pleased to use them in full-time Christian service, that he would. But if not, that they would be impact Christians.
8. That God would save my unborn descendants.

God’s Plan for Your Pain

1 Peter 1:6-12 6In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials, 7so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor […]
