Joining Southbridge Fellowship
It is our hope that all who visit would become part of Southbridge, claiming and living out all of what it means to be the local church. We believe that making a clear commitment of membership to a local church is important for multiple reasons:
- It signifies that God has done something special leading you to this place to "live life" with other people who share a common mission of influencing this community for Christ.
- It is a demonstration of a paradigm shift from consumer to contributor, from "What do I get?" to "What can I give?"
- It helps Southbridge determine the people whom we can trust to lead and care for others.
Step 1: Discovering Southbridge Lunch
This is a free lunch held once a month at the home of a church member after the 10:30am service. One of our pastors (Scott Lehr) will be there to share the story and vision of Southbridge.
Step 2: Next Steps
This is a three session class that will go into greater detail about the vision and values of Southbridge. This will also be a great place to meet other people and learn how to get plugged into community, serving, and equipping opportunities.
Step 3: Membership Covenant
Upon completion of Next Steps, you will have the opportunity to sign a membership covenant expressing your desire to embrace the beliefs, vision, values, and "distinctives" of Southbridge Fellowship.
Step 4: Share Your Story
The final step of claiming Southbridge Fellowship as your local church is to share you grace story with church leadership. Once you have signed a covenant, you will be contacted to set up a time to meet.
If you have any questions regarding membership, please contact Jon Cullen.
