Volunteer

Serving is a core value of Southbridge because it is how we build others up, how we mature in our faith, and how God uses us to accomplish His work.  As God’s family, we accept both the privilege and the obligation to use the abilities and gifts He has given us for His glory. Here are some of our volunteers sharing why they serve at Southbridge:

Listed below are our serving opportunities. Click on each heading to get more information:

Bridge Kids

Assist in teaching, childcare, security, check-in, or other ways for birth-5th grade on Sunday mornings, or administratively throughout the week.

Parking Team

Be the first ones to interact with our guests as we help them with parking and getting connected at the First Time Guest kiosk.

Hospitality Team

Show Southbridge attendees how much they matter to God and to us by serving refreshments, greeting throughout the theater, or being an usher.  Server before and/or after Sunday morning services.

Setup and Teardown Team

Assist in preparing our facilities for worship on Sunday mornings, and then tearing down all of our things when the services are over.

Connections Team

Follow-up with guests during the week.

Tech Team

Assist in the setup, teardown, and operation of all the tech equipment on Sunday mornings.

Fellowship Team

Plan social environments and events that help foster community.

Music Team

Help lead Southbridge in worship through song on Sunday mornings.

SYU (Student Ministry)

Connect 6-12th grade students to Jesus through small group teaching and fellowship.  SYU meets every Wednesday night, 6:30, at the Annex.

Outreach Team

Help plan and coordinate church-wide outreach opportunities and/or work with our current Strategic Ministry Partners.

Prayer Team

Pray for the people of the Triangle and the ministry of Southbridge.
