The most important decision of your life is whether you accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. Many people feel like they need to clean up or fix their lives before they can come to Jesus. But that’s not true.
You are saved by the grace of God. Not because of the good things you’ve done. Salvation is a free gift that can’t be earned by works. We all have sinned. Sin leads to death and causes separation from God. (Romans 3:23)
But because God loves you He sent His only Son to die on a cross for your sins and pay the price so you can experience a new life. (John 3:16) Jesus lived the life we could never live and died the death we deserved. Three days later He rose again. He conquered sin and death on the cross. He paid the debt for our sin so that we can have a relationship with Him. To experience this new life, you have to acknowledge your sin, surrender your life to Christ and receive Him as your Savior. (Romans 10: 9-10)
If you are ready to receive Christ as your Savior, you can pray these words.
“Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I believe that You died for my sins and rose from the grave so that I might have eternal life in heaven with You. I willingly repent of my sins and ask You to come into my heart and life. Take control of my words, thoughts and actions. I place all of my trust in You for my salvation. I accept You as my Lord and Savior, and this free gift of eternal life. Amen.”

I accepted Christ. What now?
- You need to be baptized. It is a command and is your first step of obedience as a Christian. You can learn more on our baptism page.
- You need to continue growing in your relationship with Jesus Christ. You can do this by joining a local church, a small group, spending time Bible study and prayer. If you are in the Raleigh-Durham area, we’d love for you to join us any Sunday at 9 or 10:30 a.m. at the Brier Creek Movie Theater.
- Celebrate what God has done in your life.
